Discover the days of Halloween’s past at the Atlanta History Center! To celebrate the age-old customs of Day of the Dead,” the History Center invites guests to explore the traditions and customs of the Dia de Los Muertos with a special festival for all to attend!
Held in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico in Atlanta and the Institute of Mexican Culture, the 2017 Day of the Dead Festival encourages visitors of all ages to learn about the traditions and heritage of the Dia de Los Muetros celebrations, and experience one for yourself! Guests can enjoy traditional dancing, crafts, and a display of beautifully decorated altars honoring lost family and friends. A variety of authentic Mexican food and entertainment will be available for this free community event, so be sure to attend!
